Discover is one of the top credit card brands in the U.S. Our team was tasked with developing campaigns to help increase credit card acquisitions or increase existing cardmember usage for the various Discover products. They compete with other travel reward or point programs for credit card usage in addition to the various benefits from the cards out in the market. The goal was to be the go-to card out of the wallet.
For the various Discover’s marketing campaigns, the primary messages were developed to communicate to the appropriate audiences in order to put the specific card ahead of the rest. The support messages and limited time offer helped create urgency to apply for the cards. The impactful designs we created along with strong calls to action grabbed attention in the chosen media placement: online, on buses and in a wide range of specialized magazines.
Because of our work to target the message to their niche audiences, acquisition increased for the cards and these new prospects were able to self select the cards that fit their lifestyle best.
